Terrace Tales: The Gruffalo

We’re heading into the deep dark wood for November’s Terrace Tales!

Join Jess from The Little Arts Workshop, Sofia from The Terrace Café and Sharon from Time to Play Sensory for another morning of pottery painting, storytelling, sensory play and tasty treats, this time inspired by the much-loved The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Our little artists will be painting their very own Gruffalo pottery figurine. Jess will guide them through the painting, showing them how to add all those important Gruffalo details and helping even our littlest painters achieve a result they’ll be proud of.

Once finished, the Gruffalos will head back to The Little Arts Workshop to be glazed and fired, ready to collect and take home.

Sharon will bring the deep dark wood to life with Gruffalo themed sensory play and story time, while Sofia and The Terrace team will have tasty treats for both children and their accompanying grown-up.

A lovely autumn morning of making, playing and storytelling in the beautiful setting of The Terrace in the Town Park.
