When you enter the studio you will be greeted by our friendly staff.
Once you have settled at your table and chosen items to paint from our wide and constantly changing selection we will talk you through how to use the glazes and answer any questions about your design and the many techniques available to you in the studio.
The studio is set up to be suitable for both children and adults. We aim to provide a relaxed, and fun environment for all ages and abilities. We love painting pottery and sharing this entertaining and therapeutic past time with our customers.

Pottery Painting
1. Choose Your Pottery
Browse our wide range of pre-made pottery pieces, all ready for you to decorate and paint.
This is a classic paint-your-own pottery experience, suitable for all ages and abilities.
2. Paint, Decorate and Create
Bring your ideas to life using our range of high-quality ceramic glazes, brushes, sponges, stamps and decorating tools.
The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and perfect for beginners as well as more confident painters.
3. Leave Your Pottery with Us for Glazing and Firing
Once you’ve finished painting, simply leave your pottery with us.
If you need your piece sooner, we offer an express firing service for £5 per item, using our small kiln for a faster turnaround. Just speak to a member of the team on the day.
4. Collect Your Finished Pottery
Your finished pottery will be wrapped and ready to collect within 1–3 weeks, depending on the time of year and any additional finishing techniques.
We’ll send you a WhatsApp message as soon as your piece is packed and ready to take home.
Clay Modelling (Unguided Sessions)
Our clay modelling sessions are a relaxed, self-led creative experience, perfect for individuals, families and small groups who want to explore clay at their own pace.
Please note: these are unguided sessions, not taught workshops or structured classes.
At the start of your session, you’ll receive a brief introduction covering how the clay works, basic hand-building techniques and how to care for your pieces. You’ll then be free to create independently.
You’ll have access to clay modelling studio equipment, tools and workspace, with books, idea sheets and inspiration available in the studio to help spark ideas. Our team are on hand throughout the session to answer basic questions and offer practical support, but you won’t be guided step-by-step through a project.
What to expect
Once your pieces are ready, we’ll contact you to return for a pottery painting session, where you can glaze and decorate your work before final firing.
Pricing
There is a £5 studio fee per artist, which includes use of tools, studio equipment, workspace and bisque firing.
Clay is priced at £10 per 500g ball. One ball is ideal for making a small mug, pinch pot or similar item.
We recommend a minimum of one ball per person, with additional clay available to purchase on the day for larger projects or if needed.
Return Painting Fee
When you return to paint your clay pieces, there is a £5 studio fee per person, which includes up to 2 hours in the studio, glazes, glazing support and the final glaze firing. This helps cover materials, kiln costs and studio time.
Group sizes
These sessions are suitable for small groups of up to 6–8 people.
