Kids Art Club is back with our new half-term theme, Making an Impression!
From this term, all Art Club children will need to complete a one-off £20 Art Club sign-up, which includes their own Art Club branded apron and reusable tote bag to bring along each week.
Once signed up, simply choose how you’d like to attend:

Our small-group Tuesday Art Club explores painting, clay, mixed media, drawing and more, with high-quality materials, expert tuition and plenty of freedom for children to develop their own ideas.
KS1: Tuesdays 4.15pm–5.15pm
KS2: Tuesdays 5.30pm–6.30pm
The £20 sign-up is new from this term, so all children, including returning Art Club members, will need to sign up once. After that, there’s no need to pay the sign-up fee again.

Our popular Tuesday Art Club is back for another half term of creativity, experimentation and fun!
Art Club is led by Jess Melton, owner of The Little Arts Workshop and a practising 3D artist, together with Anna Spicer, an experienced primary school teacher. Together, Jess and Anna combine artistic and educational experience to give children the opportunity to explore materials, learn new techniques and develop confidence in their own creativity.
We deliberately keep our groups small, allowing plenty of individual support and giving children the time and freedom to develop their own ideas.
This half term we’ll be exploring Making an Impression, looking at the theme both artistically and quite literally!
We’ll explore how artists use colour, light, texture, pattern and mark-making to make an impact, taking inspiration from Impressionism and artists such as Monet along the way.
We’ll also investigate the physical act of making an impression, experimenting with textures, objects and different ways of leaving marks in materials such as clay.
Rather than everyone creating an identical finished piece, we’ll introduce techniques, artists and ideas and then encourage the children to put their own stamp on their work.

Projects may develop and evolve as we work. That’s all part of the creative process!
Our aim is for children to produce high-quality artwork they can genuinely be proud of, using materials, techniques and project lengths that aren’t always possible within a typical school art lesson.

Projects and teaching are adapted for each age group while encouraging creativity, problem-solving and individual expression.

New children are very welcome, whether they already spend every spare minute drawing and making or simply want the chance to try something different.
Places are intentionally limited so that we can maintain the quality of teaching, materials and individual support that makes our Art Club special.
